I've now added a new feature to Driver Database. A feature on the lighter side of things. Smiley

On each driver's profile page there now is a link called "Fans" that will take you to the driver's "Fan page". Here you will be able to show your support for the driver by adding yourself to the driver's growing (well, hopefully) number of fans. You can also write a few lines of praise and encouragement on the Fan guestbook-wall-type-thingie if you wish.

The drivers with the most number of fans end up here:
Most-Fans

Off course, as this is a brand new feature there is nothing scientific at all about the top lists. It's for entertainment purposes only. I'm pretty sure Robert Kubica does have more than 1 fan (as he currently has on the site), for example.  Cool

In order to add yourself as a fan (which is 100% anonymous btw) you will either need to have a Driver Database user account or you will need to validate your email address after you've added yourself as a fan to a driver. This is to limit the number of cheaters.

This is very nice feature to make the fans more integrated with the website.

Good luck in 2009 season, hope you have the time to make the stats up to date.

So where are my fans?  Grin

Thanks a lot for the effort.

I decided it was time to give the Fans feature a little push in the right direction and get people to show their support for their favourite drivers.

It is now possible to see the number of fans for all drivers for each 2009 championship.
Sort of like this:

How do you see an individual members fan count? Like if I'm on Fahad's page how do I get to see how many fans he has? Or can I?

There's a link at every driver's profile page called "Fans". And on there you see the total. Smiley
