What is a Race

For recording on DriverDB what constitutes a race is basically a competetion between more than 1 driver on an Oval, Road Course or Street Course where they compete head to head.
For Speedway Events only the Results of the 'A' Main event will have Wins, Podiums & Fastest Laps recorded, Race starts are recorded as 1 for the whole event if a driver takes the start in any of the races that make up the nights event (if more than one 'A' main run then drivers starting the extra Main will have an extra start recorded).

Rallies, Time Trails, Regularity Trails and Fun type races are not recorded.
Hill Climbs where they constitute part of a National Championship in the early years of Motorsport maybe considered.
